To our major corporate and community partners, we say a heartfelt thank you!
MYATTSFIELD VINEYARDS
Josh & Rachael Davenport of MyattsField Vineyards have been supporting us since 2006 and are truly part of the Neuromuscular WA family. From hosting our beautiful Rhythm & Views event to donating wine for all our community and fundraising events. One of the highlights at our annual Kailis Club event is Row 38, which has raised $160,000 and gives the winning bidder the chance to produce 15 cases of wine from their own vine. Their generosity also flows through initiatives like Case for a Cause and their vineyard has become a welcoming space for connection, fundraising and fun. We’re so grateful to call them Honorary Life Members, long-time partners and friends.
STAN PERRON CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
The Stan Perron Charitable Foundation has quietly supported Neuromuscular WA for over 30 years, beginning in 1986 when Stan Perron became our Patron. His deep care and commitment laid the foundation for a lasting partnership with the Perron Group and Toyota WA.
Stan’s belief in our mission helped us grow and deliver vital services to families living with neuromuscular conditions. That generosity continues today through annual donations and targeted grants that help fill service gaps and fund key programs.
This support reflects shared values, trust, and a spirit of kindness that Stan embodied. We’re especially grateful to Chair Elizabeth Perron, who champions her father’s legacy and regularly joins us at fundraising events.
TOYOTA WA
Toyota WA, proudly part of the Perron Group, have been a valued partner for over 18 years. As the long-time naming partner of the Toyota WA Golf Classic fundraiser and the hosts of our Busselton golf days, their support has helped raise vital funds and awareness. They generously provide a co-branded, fully serviced vehicle for our use and are active supporters at every event, donating auction items and always bidding big. We’re incredibly grateful for their ongoing commitment.
KAILIS BROS
A partner since the early 1970s, the Kailis Bros family have stood beside us for over five decades. The relationship began when Michael George Kailis held the first charity auction at the fish markets, marking the start of a partnership built on generosity and community spirit.
From the original fish market auctions to generously hosting and supporting the Kailis Club Charity Auction, their impact has been extraordinary. Honorary Life Member Theo Kailis played a key role in launching the event, offering the venue, staff and catering at no cost - ensuring more funds go directly to our programs. Today, Michael Kailis continues the legacy of this long-standing,
generous partnership.
TEAM SPENCER
TEAM Spencer has been a cherished partner of Neuromuscular WA since 2007. It was founded by Rick and Ruth Steven in memory of their son Spencer, who passed away from SMA in 2006. Once known for their annual ball, they now focus on meaningful community events. One of the highlights each year is their much-loved baseball game with the Perth Heat, which continues to raise vital funds and awareness for SMA research and care.
Their impact is far-reaching. The Team Spencer PhD Scholarship in SMA research supported Dr Loren Flynn from 2014. Her research is now close to entering clinical trials, a remarkable achievement made possible by their support.
Rick and Ruth are Honorary Life Members of Neuromuscular WA and will always hold a special place in our community.
BENNETT LITIGATION AND COMMERCIAL LAW
Our partnership with Principal David Stewart began during our 2023 rebrand, thanks to an introduction from Alan Jennings at Key2Creative. Since then, Bennett Legal have generously provided pro bono support, offering expert advice on intellectual property and other legal matters. Pro bono legal support like this is crucial in allowing us to thrive, ensuring we can focus our resources on delivering impact to the community while staying protected and well-advised. We’re incredibly grateful for their continued support.
CLIP MEDIA MOTION
Clip Media have been valued partners since around 2012, originally supporting us through filming and editing at the Busselton Ironman, then Dwellingup 100 and now producing our own growing library of videos. Stew and the team go above and beyond, generously offering significant discounts and pro bono work, which always captures the heart of our community. Every one of our community videos has been brought to life by Clip Media and we’re so grateful for their ongoing support.
ROTARY CLUB OF WEST PERTH
The Rotary Club of West Perth has been a loyal and generous partner of Neuromuscular WA for over 50 years, playing a pivotal role in our founding in 1967. Their ongoing support, through funding, advocacy, and community connections has helped us grow into the organisation we are today.
Many of our staff, board members, and supporters are proud Rotary members, deepening the bond between our organisations.
Each year, the Rotary Club hosts a much-loved magic show with Neuromuscular WA as the major beneficiary. It’s a special event that brings joy to families and raises vital funds for our services.
PERRON GROUP
Perron Group has stood beside Neuromuscular WA for many years. Founded by our former Patron, the late Stan Perron and now led by CEO Adam Irving, their support has been generous, genuine and always appreciated. Whether it’s celebrating big milestones or getting behind our events, Perron Group is always there and we’re so grateful for everything they bring to our community.
TELETHON
Telethon has been with us since the very beginning. Their first grant to us in 1968 supported groundbreaking research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), helping develop reliable tests that worked towards reducing the incidence of DMD here in WA. Over 50 years on, Telethon continues to support our kids-based social programs and initiatives that make a real difference to the neuromuscular community. Their support helped pave the way for major medical breakthroughs and we’re proud to have them as long-time partners in progress.
SEALINK
SeaLink has been a generous supporter of Neuromuscular WA, providing ferry tickets to Rottnest Island for our community events and as sought-after auction prizes. Their support holds special significance, as Rottnest Island is home to the quokka, the very animal that played a pivotal role in groundbreaking research on muscle regeneration. This research laid the foundation for our organisation's formation and continues to inspire our mission today. We're grateful to SeaLink for helping us stay connected to this important part of our history and for supporting our community in such a meaningful way.
SCARBOROUGH BEACH ASSOCIATION
The Scarborough Beach Association has been a valued partner of Neuromuscular WA since 2018, proudly naming us their charity partner for the annual Carols at Scarborough event. This passionate group of volunteers not only champions our cause but also puts their heart into celebrating and supporting the local community.
Each year, they help secure vital support from the City of Stirling to make the Carols event possible. It’s a joyful night full of community spirit, fundraising, and awareness and we’re truly grateful for their ongoing dedication and partnership.
