THE PURELY SOCIALS (18+)
Purely Socials is our adult social events program for people aged 18 years and over living with neuromuscular conditions (NMCs) across Perth. The program brings adults together through inclusive, enjoyable events that create space to connect, participate and belong.
We run around 9 - 10 social events each year, giving you the flexibility to attend the events that interest you or join us for them all. Events are relaxed, welcoming and held in accessible community settings, helping to reduce social isolation and build confidence in social and community spaces.
Activities may include Fringe Festival outings, comedy shows, social lunches and sundowners, guided tours (such as Lightscape or Fremantle Prison), fishing experiences with Fishability and fun games nights. Events are held across a mix of days and times, both on site and at public venues, so there’s something for everyone.
A support person is welcome to attend with you.
